Product Characteristics
Featured products: Rare earth Al-Ti-C. It can not only make the aluminum alloys obtain more and finer equiaxed crystals, increase the strength and toughness of the materials, but also enhance their electrical conductivity.
Main product: AlTiC for automotive interior trims. The over 80% qualified product rate, the stable chemical compositions which strictly conforms to the standards, and the strict quality control, all the above factors ensure the best cost-effective Al-Ti-C to be provided.
Without using KBF4 as a raw material, the salt inclusions in the Al-Ti-C alloy finished product are less and more pure than Titanium Boron Aluminum (Al-Ti-B).
The TiC particles in the Al-Ti-C are composed of two atoms, and the crystal structure is dense. Therefore, the sizes of TiC particles are all less than or equal to 2 μm. But some TiB2 particles in the Al-Ti-B might be greater than or equal to 3 μm.
The nucleation rate of aluminum-titanium carbon is higher. There is one nucleation in about 500 TiB2 particles, and there is one nucleation in about 50, or even 5, TiC particles. Therefore, introducing the smaller amount of hard spots into the aluminum solution can effectively reduce the pinhole of the foil. Meanwhile, the fewer the particles, the higher the chance of nucleation of each particle. And that also prevents the particle aggregation and precipitation effectively. So the refinement effect is better.
In the pursuit of the same refinement effect, the amount of Al-Ti-C is generally less than that of Al-Ti-B. The 1 ‰ addition of Al-Ti-C can make the pure aluminum ingot obtain equiaxed crystals in 200 μm or less.
