The mildew problem of aluminum die-casting parts is directly related to the storage environment. The temperature and humidity in the storage environment must be normal for mold growth. Or because of the aluminum die casting itself, when some special substances are mixed on its surface, it will automatically absorb moisture into the air to form a galvanic corrosion reaction, creating an environment suitable for mold growth.
Due to the corrosion reaction of the galvanic battery, alkaline compounds will precipitate on the surface of the aluminum die-casting. Once deliquesced at the appropriate temperature and humidity, the surface will quickly grow mold. In addition, if there are oils, plant fibers and other substances on the surface of aluminum die castings, it will also provide favorable conditions for the production of mold.
In order to solve the problem of mildew on the surface of aluminum die castings, first of all, do not use refining deterioration slagging agents containing sodium or magnesium salts, but instead use refining deterioration agents with NaF components. At the same time, avoid the use of release agents containing plant fibers and machining cutting fluids containing plant fibers.
Try not to store the processed aluminum die-casting parts in the open air for a long time, so as to avoid dust accumulation on the surface, and also to avoid adverse effects caused by environmental factors. If you want to store it, you should also take waterproof measures to reduce the mildew conditions.
