The most featured product is AlTi5C0.2 grain refiner,which shows great refinement ability compared with other traditional one,advantages as below :
1. High refinement efficiency.The average grain size of Al99.7 aluminum ingot refined by AlTi5C0.2 can reach to 180μm with addition rate 0.2%.
2. Extremely clean.There is no KBF4 added in production,and very little salt inclusions and alkaline earth metals existed in the finished product.
3. No tendency to agglomerate and grow up.TiC particles exist stably with a size below 2μm,and will not block the filter equipment.
4. It can make the grain size uniform from surface to center,because TiC particles are very sensitive to constitutional supercooling,which especially helps to obtain better and uniform grain size in the center of alloy.
5. It can reduce the intergranular corrosion rate and improve the corrosion resistance.TiC particles are mostly distributed inside the grains,reducing the number of second phases at the grain boundaries and intergranular corrosion rate,improving the continuity of the passivation film, thereby obtaining better corrosion resistance.
6. It can effectively overcome the refinement "poisoning" and improve the casting quality of high-strength and heat-resistant aluminum alloys which contains Zr,Cr elements.
